Michelle Brown served as President of Blue Springs City Theatre (BSCT) for eight years. She was a beloved director of multiple youth productions during her tenure. She loved helping people of all ages but especially enjoyed introducing young actors to the magic of the stage, and watching them learn, grow, and evolve. Michelle lost her battle with breast cancer in 2018 and BSCT has established this scholarship to honor her memory and her passion for helping others.
High School Seniors and Graduates who are planning to attend college or another post-secondary education program for the 2023-2024 school year, and who have participated in one or more BSCT productions during middle or high school are encouraged to apply.
