Tell the city of blue springs we need a community performing

This is our opportunity to tell the City of Blue Springs that we NEED a community performing arts center!

The City of Blue Springs has a "Downtown Master Plan - Design Studio" event scheduled for November 1st and 2nd.  Within their Facebook post is a link to a survey for ways to improve Downtown Blue Springs. Please take a few minutes and complete the survey, suggesting the addition of a community performing arts center to the Downtown Blue Springs area. 

A community performing art center will provide rehearsal and performance spaces for groups like us, Blue Springs City Theatre, and also Blue Springs Ballet, Monarch Conservatory, music instructors for recitals, and others.  It would also impact other Downtown Blue Springs businesses as patrons of the performing arts events would likely also frequent these businesses while they are in the area (e.g., East Forty Brewing, Brewers, Pizza Shoppe, Bean Counter Cafe, Simply Frosted, etc.). 

PLEASE take a moment to complete this 3 question survey (see below) within the next day or so, since the Design Studio event is less than 2 weeks away.  The more people that make the suggestion, the more likely the City is to consider the need!

You can also go to the interactive map and "like" the performing art center suggestions that are located over the lumber yard land (near the railroad tracks) and over the First Baptist Church building (15th and Main).
